To address critical health challenges, Deepak Kavadia launched the “Namaste Doctor” Q&A series during the COVID-19 pandemic to provide reliable information from world-renowned experts. Additionally, the NRI Federation actively works on the “Save India from Dengue” campaign to raise awareness about preventive measures and support communities in high-risk areas.

Namaste Doctor – Covid Q&A

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Deepak Kavadia took the initiative to host a series of interactive Q&A sessions via Zoom called “Namaste Doctor”, featuring some of the world’s most renowned doctors and healthcare experts. These sessions aimed to provide clear, accurate, and timely information about the virus, addressing widespread concerns and dispelling misinformation. By creating an open platform for discussion, Mr. Kavadia empowered people worldwide with reliable knowledge during an unprecedented time of uncertainty. This impactful series is now available on YouTube, continuing to serve as a valuable resource for those seeking expert insights on COVID-19 and related healthcare topics.

Save India from Dengue

India faces recurrent outbreaks of dengue, a mosquito-borne viral infection that poses significant public health challenges. With its seasonal surges, particularly during the monsoon, dengue affects millions across the country, straining healthcare systems and causing widespread concern. Symptoms range from mild fever to severe complications, including hemorrhagic fever and organ failure, making prevention and timely intervention critical. 

Leveraging its global network, NRI Federation has worked to raise awareness among communities about preventive measures, including the importance of eliminating stagnant water, using protective barriers like nets and repellents, and seeking timely medical attention. Additionally, we have provided contributions to facilitate the distribution of essential medical supplies, supported vaccination awareness efforts, and collaborated with healthcare professionals to strengthen response mechanisms in high-risk areas.

To address long-term challenges, the NRI Federation is committed to working alongside local governments, NGOs, and public health experts to improve sanitation infrastructure and promote educational campaigns.
